[Shanghai, China, September 19, 2024] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2024, Huawei held its first Global Partner Summit under the theme "Grow Together, Win the Intelligent Era". More than 1,000 partners from around the world attended the event. Huawei and its partners discussed strategic insights, strategy implementation, and best practices regarding the business needs and scenarios of various customers undergoing digital and intelligent transformation.
Leo Chen, Huawei's Corporate Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise Sales, delivered a keynote speech at the summit. In his speech, Chen outlined the company's SHAPE framework which is designed to provide comprehensive support for partners. The framework is underpinned by five pillars: Sustaining the leadership of products and solutions, Honing joint innovation with partners, Advancing partner capability development, Promoting partner cooperation experience, and Expanding partner growth opportunities. Chen also emphasized Huawei's partnership principle of "shared benefits as the bridge, integrity as the foundation, and rules as the guarantee", aiming to collaborate with partners for shared success in the intelligent era.
At the summit, Huawei unveiled its Partner ICT Enablement Program, which aims to help 600,000 partner employees worldwide acquire Huawei ICT certifications over the next five years. Huawei will invest a targeted fund in this program to ensure its smooth implementation through measures such as sharing learning resources, organizing industry activities, and providing organizational support. Huawei remains committed to empowering partners and collaborating with them to meet the digital and intelligent transformation needs of government and enterprise customers across various industries. Through such actions, the company believes that all parties can achieve greater business success and mutually beneficial outcomes during global digital and intelligent transformation.
During the summit, Bill Wang, Director of Huawei's Industry ICT Solution Development Mgmt Dept, said, "Huawei works with partners to offer four enablement models: infrastructure, cloud platform, data, and AI, helping customers bridge the digital divide. Huawei also provides the Cloud OpenLab cloud-based solution integration platform, marketing platforms, O3 partner service platform, unified partner enablement center, and global OpenLab system to empower partners across various industries."
At the summit, four partners—Maxvision Technology, NCS, Compwire, and TrustDecision Technology—shared their success stories in collaboration with Huawei in addressing the opportunities and challenges that different industries and regions encounter during digital and intelligent transformation, as well as their expectations for future partnerships.
