[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, Huawei launched the intelligent architecture and intelligent E&P solution for the oil and gas industry. The digital technology marks a new milestone in intelligent development for oil and gas.
[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, David Wang, Huawei's Executive Director of the Board, Chairman of ICT Infrastructure Managing Board, and President of the Enterprise BG, delivered a keynote speech titled "Accelerate Intelligence". Wang shared Huawei's views on and experience in helping industries make the most of intelligence. He also announced the launch of Huawei's new Atlas 900 SuperCluster. This new AI computing cluster, the latest offering in Huawei's Ascend series of computing products, makes use of a brand-new architecture. In addition, Wang announced nine new intelligent industry solutions based on Huawei's Intelligent Transformation reference architecture. These solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of different industries, including finance, government, manufacturing, electric power, and railway.
[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI Connect 2023, Huawei released the Huawei FTTM Solution Planning and Design Guide together with the IT Electronics Eleventh Design & Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited, CHINA FAW GROUP Corporation, and Shuangliang Silicon Materials Limited (Baotou). The Guide focuses on the architecture design, comprehensive cabling design, device selection, and service planning for the fiber to the machine (FTTM) network in intelligent manufacturing scenarios. It aims to accelerate the application of the F5G technology in the intelligent manufacturing field, and promote the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing.

With the goal of improving public services and accelerating the digital transformation of cities, participants of this program have agreed to collaborate in exploring ways to use foundation models (large pre-trained AI models) to empower a wide range of smart city applications, such as intelligent government services, government office digitalization, and intelligent city governance, and to drive the digital government, digital economy, and digital society projects outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan of governments at all levels in China. More than 800 chief executives from cities all over China attended this summit.
