[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, Huawei's Aviation & Rail BU held three global summits specifically oriented to the BU's niche. Huawei together with industry customers, leaders, technical experts, and partners discussed and shared their best practices for accelerating industry intelligence.
[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, Huawei held the Global Manufacturing and Large Enterprise Summit themed Bring Intelligence into Manufacturing. At the event, Huawei released a series of solutions and consulting services, which integrate Huawei's reference architecture for the intelligent transformation of industries into the processes and business scenarios of manufacturers and other large enterprises. The summit brought together over 700 enterprise customers, technical experts, partners, and representatives of industry alliances to discuss how to use AI and other digital technologies to accelerate the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry.
[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, Huawei Electric Power Digitalization BU held a summit titled "Thrive with Digital, Accelerate Intelligence for Electric Power". David Sun, CEO of Electric Power Digitalization BU, kicked off his speech by shedding light on how the industry can address the new stress on the power system brought by the rapid development of new energy. He began by saying that we need to systematically build core capabilities. Changes to digital production relationships (awareness, organization, and talent), digital productivity upgrades like computing and transmission power, and architecture-mode-ecosystem innovation can all drive intelligent evolution of the power system.

[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2023, David Wang, Huawei's Executive Director of the Board, Chairman of ICT Infrastructure Managing Board, and President of the Enterprise BG, delivered a keynote speech titled "Accelerate Intelligence". Wang shared Huawei's views on and experience in helping industries make the most of intelligence. He also announced the launch of Huawei's new Atlas 900 SuperCluster. This new AI computing cluster, the latest offering in Huawei's Ascend series of computing products, makes use of a brand-new architecture. In addition, Wang announced nine new intelligent industry solutions based on Huawei's Intelligent Transformation reference architecture. These solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of different industries, including finance, government, manufacturing, electric power, and railway.
[Shanghai, China, September 20, 2023] During HUAWEI Connect 2023, Huawei released the Huawei FTTM Solution Planning and Design Guide together with the IT Electronics Eleventh Design & Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited, CHINA FAW GROUP Corporation, and Shuangliang Silicon Materials Limited (Baotou). The Guide focuses on the architecture design, comprehensive cabling design, device selection, and service planning for the fiber to the machine (FTTM) network in intelligent manufacturing scenarios. It aims to accelerate the application of the F5G technology in the intelligent manufacturing field, and promote the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing.
