Huawei Launches Central Asia Commercial Roadshows to Empower Businesses in Digital Transformation

[Tashkent, Uzbekistan, June 04, 2024] Huawei kicked off its Central Asia Commercial Roadshow series on April 22nd, 2024, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, followed a stop in Samarkand within the same week and events in Kazakhstan at the end of May. These events are designed to support businesses across various industries on their digital transformation journeys.

The roadshow showcases advanced digital solutions for government, enterprise, and industrial customers. The Tashkent event attracted over 130 participants which includes a diverse audience from government, education, and key sectors like IT, healthcare, retail, and hospitality.

Participants explored Huawei's digital solutions tailored to address specific customer and partner needs, with a focus on empowering small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to transform in phases.

Jason Yang, Director of Commercial Business for Huawei Enterprise in the Middle East and Central Asia, highlighted Huawei's partners strategy, new services and digital platforms designed to streamline business operations, manage logistics, and provide marketing and educational resources. "We invite partners to cooperate to jointly implement the digital and intellectual transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises using market-demand products, IT tools and reliable business organization systems," said Yang.

Huawei experts presented a range of products and solutions, including those for IP networks, data storage, optical networks, smart devices, and remote communication systems. They also showcased practical examples of creating "smart" universities and campuses.

Reshat Boltaev, ICT Solutions Advisor for Huawei in Uzbekistan, emphasized the company's commitment to the commercial market through partnerships and a partner-oriented business model. He stated that the digital transformation of SMEs and vertical industries presents a vast market opportunity, and Huawei will continue to foster partnerships for mutual success.

The next roadshow will be held in Bishkek on June 12. This series of roadshows will cover eight Central Asian countries in total. Huawei cooperates with over 40,000 global partners and remains committed to working with them to create a thriving digital ecosystem and achieve mutual success. This collaboration contributes to ICT infrastructure development, digital economy growth, and talent development in the region.
