Introduction

In June 2021, ATU and Huawei signed a co-operation agreement which included providing training to ATU members. This training includes short non-technical courses, as well as more technical courses that come with a globally recognized certification, known as Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA). After achieving Associate Levels, it is possible to move on to Professional and Expert levels.

For information on the non-technical courses, please contact Mrs. Alice Koech, Program Coordinator, ATU on email a.koech@atuuat.africa. This page provides links to the course content for the HCIA courses. Upon registering an account, you can access all the materials including a mock exam. It is recommended to have some prior technical experience or have taken previous academic courses in ICT fields in order to take the technical courses. Once you pass the mock exam, please contact Mrs. Alice Koech, Program Coordinator, ATU on email a.koech@atuuat.africa with the email address you passed the mock exam with and your organization name and job title, and they will provide you with a voucher to take the final exam.

If you have any questions or would like further support with the materials through a live lecture/Q&A with a lecturer, please let ATU know and they will arrange this with Huawei according to demand.
