Roadside awareness systems are the basis of smart transportation. Traditional awareness solutions have poor all-weather adaptability, short sensing distance, high pole construction costs, and poor sensing accuracy. Huawei's new-generation ASN850 mmWave traffic radar features a kilometre-level ultra-long distance and 95% high-precision detection capability. It works with Huawei's intelligent edge computing converged sensing engine to implement lightning fitting and sensing deployment, providing an accurate digital base for smart transportation applications such as high-speed and urban roads.

The converged sensing engine based on the intelligent edge computing platform uses multiple lightning fitting technologies to ensure all-weather lane-level coverage without blind spots and track continuity. The target detection accuracy reaches 95%.

Multiple advanced algorithms can identify more than 95% in complex scenarios, such as large vehicles, small vehicles, hazardous chemical vehicles, spilled objects, congestion, and traffic accidents, enhancing the proactive response capability of smart traffic management.
