Huawei HiSecEngine Probe1000 Series Network Traffic Threat Detection Probes

Huawei HiSecEngine Probe1000 is the traffic probe of Huawei HiSec Insight security situational awareness platform. It is used by small, medium, and large enterprises, such as governments, finance, education, healthcare, and carriers. The HiSecEngine Probe1000 uses Huawei-developed dedicated security chips and NGE engines, and provides powerful IPS, antivirus, and malicious file detection capabilities. Parses traffic of protocols such as HTTP, DNS, ICMP, email, and TLS and sends metadata data to the third-party big data platform. Mainstream files can be restored. Supports PCAP packet capture to obtain event processing evidence collection information. The HiSecEngine Probe1000 has an independent web management page, which can be centrally managed by the Huawei HiSec Insight system and interconnected with a third-party big data platform.

The HiSecEngine Probe1000 has a built-in service awareness (SA) engine. By detecting the content of application-layer data in packets, the HiSecEngine Probe1000 can analyze and restore various application protocols in a fine-grained and complete manner.
• Comprehensive application protocol identification: supports application protocol identification and provides advanced protocol identification technologies.
• In-depth analysis of application protocols: Supports in-depth analysis of application protocols such as ICMP, HTTP, DNS, email (SMTP/POP3/IMAP4), and TLS, and generates traffic metadata data.
• File restoration using multiple protocols: Files transferred using HTTP, email (SMTP/POP3/IMAP4), FTP, SMB, and NFS can be restored.

The HiSecEngine Probe1000 integrates Huawei proprietary high-performance IPS and antivirus engines, and Huawei professional IPS signature database and antivirus signature database to comprehensively and accurately detect various network intrusion behaviors and malicious files, reducing false positives and preventing evasion.
• Detection of multiple network intrusion behaviors: Supports detection of SQL injection, XSS attacks, WebShell, Botnet, scanning, mining, ransomware, remote control tools, worms, viruses, remote code execution, remote file inclusion, and information leakage attacks.
• Pre-configured rich intrusion detection signature database: A large number of signature rules are pre-configured, and the signature database can be updated quickly or in a timely manner with the help of Huawei global vulnerability tracking capabilities, enabling the product to detect the latest attacks.
• Huawei-developed antivirus detection: supports the stream antivirus engine to detect malicious files. A large number of built-in antivirus databases can effectively detect virus files.
