Huawei, Keppel Singapore, Xiangjiang Technology, and Cloud Engine Ink Cooperation Agreement to Build Smart Data Centers Together

[Shanghai, China, October 11th, 2018] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei announced that the company, together with three others — the professional data center infrastructure provider from Singapore, Keppel Data Centres Holding Pte Ltd. (Keppel Data Centres), as well as Xiangjiang Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Xiangjiang Science & Technology), and Cloud Engine (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd. (Cloud Engine) — have signed a partnership agreement to jointly build efficient and robust new-generation smart data centers.

Keppel is one of the largest multinational enterprises in Singapore. As a wholly-owned subsidiary specializing in operating data centers, Keppel Data Centers has extensive experience in data center construction and operation. Xiangjiang Science & Technology is an Internet Data Center (IDC) service provider of the entire industry chain. The organization provides product solutions, system integration, and data center operation services. Cloud Engine continuously innovates cloud application services in China. Further, Cloud Engine builds efficient cloud service platforms based on network resource capabilities and expertise across the globe. The four companies will collaborate with one another’s expertise and leverage the respective core strengths of each to establish win-win partnerships in the data center field, achieve all-around cooperation, and jointly promote each other’s services. Moreover, these companies are up-to-date with regard to cutting-edge technologies and industry dynamics both inside and outside of China in order to jointly promote the advancement and stable development of the data center industry.
