Huawei Launches New Version of Marketplace — Its Solution Partner Program — to Help Build New Industrial Application Supermarket

2018.10.15

[Shanghai, China, October 11, 2018] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei launched the Industry Enablement Zone on Marketplace, Huawei's Solution Partner Program. Based on Huawei's EBG industry enablement platform, the zone focuses on three major scenarios: safe city, smart city, and smart park. It also cooperates with application partners to deeply understand industry needs and supports partners to develop industry applications, business models, and data models for customers, facilitating digital transformation for industry customers.

Following its "platform+ecosystem" strategy, Huawei encourages cooperation with solution partners and channel partners to help customers achieve business success. Since releasing its Solution Partner Program in September 2016, Huawei has provided solution partners with E2E support in solution design, development, verification, promotion, and sales. To date, more than 4000 industry partners have been registered, with more than a quarter of them already certified. In 2017, the sales volume of industry joint solutions was over CNY 10 billion.

At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei released its Industry Enablement Platform Zone, a new function of Marketplace. From the customer perspective, this zone provides typical industry applications, Huawei's development tools and assets, and project consultancy. From the partner perspective, this zone provides Huawei's industry enablement platform for development tools and asset display and experience, technical support, community interaction, and transaction management. The Marketplace Industry Enablement Zone provides the following functions: industry application market, asset market, and community.

Huawei's EBG Industry Enablement Platform leverages industry-leading ICT technologies and partner capabilities to fully understand customer requirements and facilitate partner cooperation in building a service layer for data and applications. This platform provides capabilities for three types of digital services to enable industry digital transformation: industry data service, industry business service, and industry development service. At present, the industry-specific joint solutions provided by Huawei's EBG Industry Enablement Platform have been successfully applied to multiple benchmark projects, such as the security project of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2018 in Qingdao, Suzhou Public Security Bureau, Vanke Smart Park, and Shenzhen Airport of the Future. These projects are showcases of digital transformation in the industry.
