[Shanghai, China, September 18, 2025] During Huawei Connect 2025, an innovation summit themed Building AI Campuses Together to Achieve All Intelligence was held. The event brought together customers, partners, and experts from around the world to explore the blueprint, value, and successful practices of AI Campus. Huawei, together with its partners, unveiled a series of new products and solutions, and called on industry peers to jointly build a promising future for AI Campus.
Intelligent campuses are not only places for cutting-edge technologies to take root, but also vital contributors to digital transformation. Huawei is committed to infusing intelligence into every campus, empowering industries across the board to embrace all intelligence.
In a keynote speech, Leon Wang, Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, outlined Huawei's strategic vision for industry intelligence. Wang emphasized four foundational pillars driving the AI Campus initiative: HI-AI coexistence, all-domain connectivity, resilient security, and eco-sustainability.

Jarry Fan, Director of Intelligent Manufacturing Dept, AITO BG, Seres, detailed the company's strategic move toward platformization and intelligence. Working in close partnership with Huawei, Seres is building a "super factory," an intelligent campus that excels in security, efficiency, and sustainability. The project is guided by its core strategies, platforms, and capabilities centering on intelligent manufacturing. Leveraging a "platform + connectivity" approach, Seres pools vast data assets and accelerates resource sharing. Fan also highlighted the integration of AI with the industry brain, which brings together critical data and digital practices across more than ten business domains, from R&D and manufacturing to supply and sales. This drives intelligent production, enhances efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and fosters integration across the entire industry.

Connectivity of everything is the cornerstone of an AI Campus. Guests at the summit explored how innovative technologies can reshape the campus connectivity experience, laying a solid foundation for intelligent transformation.
At the summit, National University of Singapore (NUS) shared its wireless network development journey. The speaker of NUS emphasized that 10 Gbps bandwidth access, sustainability, and intelligent management are the core goals of this journey. High-quality wireless networks now fully cover indoor and outdoor areas across the university. Moving forward, NUS will continue to enhance the intelligence of its campus network, aiming to become a truly connected university without borders.
As connectivity scales up in the intelligent world, network security has become increasingly complex. In his speech titled Forging a Network Shield for All-Domain Campus Security, Shawn Zhao, President of the Campus Network Domain, Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, emphasized that campus networks are evolving from basic communications channels into integrated systems that connect people, things, and environments, driving deeper interaction between the digital and physical worlds. However, this evolution also amplifies security risks amid explosive growth in endpoint terminals: vulnerabilities to eavesdropping in wireless transmission, frequent blind spots in physical space monitoring, and constant intrusions into privacy. To address these threats, Huawei officially launched the Xinghe AI Campus Full-Scope Security Solution, delivering comprehensive protection across four dimensions—assets, transmission, space, and privacy—to establish a robust defense system that spans both digital and physical realms.

Ahmad Adel, CTO of MDS for Computer Systems LLC in Saudi Arabia, introduced the company's long-standing presence across emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He emphasized that MDS has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in these regions. Speaking on the development of its new city, an ambitious project aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, Adel highlighted key challenges in network deployment, including future scalability, O&M costs, and extensive outdoor spaces to be covered. Leveraging Huawei's FTTO solution, the city has achieved smooth network evolution, passive aggregation, and zero extra-low-voltage (ELV) rooms. This foundation supports its transformation into a model zone for reform and a regional hub for innovation, driving industrial prosperity across the area.

Perry Yang, President of Huawei Enterprise Optical Domain, delivered a speech titled Boosting Computing with Fiber: Powering Campuses with Inclusive AI. He emphasized that Huawei's F5G-A FTTO Network Solution, featuring ultra-broadband, simplified architecture, intelligent connectivity, and intelligent sensing, has become the standard network foundation for AI Campuses. Designed for sectors such as education, healthcare, and hospitality, the solution builds a next-generation green 10 Gbps all-optical network supporting Wi-Fi 7 standard, enhancing teaching quality, diagnostic efficiency, and overall user experience.
To date, Huawei has empowered over 12,000 campuses worldwide in their journey toward all intelligence. Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to collaborate with global industry partners, invest in standards development, accumulate best practices, and optimize supporting tools to deliver greater value to more customers.

Intelligent connectivity lays the foundation, but an AI Campus also requires a powerful digital platform—the "intelligent brain" of the campus—to enable coordination and collaboration. Through data integration, intelligent analysis, unified scheduling, and O&M services, this platform transforms massive volumes of connection-generated data into deep business insights and efficient coordinated action.
Eric He, CEO of Huawei Campus Team, noted that AI is evolving from understanding the world to creating value, and campus intelligence is extending from a single aspect to all scenarios, while digital platforms are transforming from basic connectivity tools into intelligent brains that orchestrate campus operations. At this pivotal moment, Huawei officially launched eCampusCore 2.0, introducing a new suite of intelligent services and significantly upgrading its capabilities in connectivity, data, and O&M. The enhanced eCampusCore 2.0 solidifies the competitive edge of Huawei's campus digital platform, which features full connectivity, convergence, and collaboration. As the intelligent engine behind AI Campus, eCampusCore 2.0 empowers smarter work and production, reshaping campus operations and management, and unlocking infinite possibilities for the future.
