Against this backdrop, Xie Liming, Vice President of Huawei Data Storage Product Line, released the New-Gen OceanStor Dorado Converged All-Flash Storage which will address enterprises' data storage needs as they look to become AI-ready. This new-gen storage has three features:

Converged: The system adopts a parallel architecture of block, file, and object storage in order to meet the diverse data store requirements of production systems in the AI era. It delivers 20% higher performance and 25% lower TCO than the industry benchmark, and supports active-active solutions for blocks, files, and objects to prevent any data loss. The storage also supports seamless cross-generation convergence of legacy and new models, allowing for online, migration-free upgrades with zero service interruptions.

Resilient: The system employs the SmartMatrix 4.0 full-mesh architecture to deliver 99.99999% single-system reliability, ensuring uninterrupted services even if seven out of eight controller enclosures fail. In addition, the system provides built-in ransomware protection for blocks and files with the detection rate reaching up to 99.99% thanks to a number of leading technologies such as built-in honeyfiles, real-time abnormal I/O behavior detection, and intelligent block-level detection. Furthermore, the AI-based ransomware detection module identifies ransomware attacks within seconds by comprehensively analyzing the I/O data flow of blocks and files, maintaining data resilience and minimizing service downtime.

AI Agent: The system leverages intelligent algorithms for accelerated performance, an AI copilot for simplified O&M, and AI agents to enhance user experience. The AI agent for ransomware protection manages the entire IPDRR process, including intelligent risk identification, automatic protection policy configuration, real-time detection and response, and the implementation of optimal recovery policies. These industry-leading capabilities mean that ransomware protection is deployed within 1 minute, attacks are blocked with zero latency, and data is recovered within minutes.

Resilient and reliable data infrastructure, which supports efficient utilization and management of diverse data, is critical to the rapid advancement of mission-critical applications in the age of AI. Huawei Data Storage is committed to continuous innovation and has served over 26,000 customers in more than 150 countries and regions around the world. These customers, from various industries such as finance, manufacturing, education, and healthcare, place great trust in Huawei Data Storage and its capabilities. New-Gen OceanStor Dorado Converged All-Flash Storage, a preferred choice for enterprise mission-critical applications, is now poised to support a broader range of production applications and accelerate enterprises' digital and intelligent transformation.
