IdeaHub and Beyond, Elevating Smart Education Across Ta'allum Group
Enterprise products, solutions & services
Ta'allum Group is a leading private education group operating a network of schools that serve a diverse and multicultural student community in Qatar. School owners are committed to fostering more interactive learning experiences and maintaining friendly campuses for both teachers and students.
Classroom interaction was limited across Ta'allum schools, and remote learning capabilities were minimal. Teachers needed tools that would help them explain concepts more clearly, share digital content seamlessly, and interact with students in real time. Students required more dynamic and engaging learning methods to encourage participation and collaboration.
The Group aimed to support hybrid and remote learning models to ensure educational continuity regardless of location. To this end, Ta'allum required a high-performance, user-friendly interactive classroom solution suitable for daily academic use across its diverse school environments.
Previously, classrooms relied on legacy tools such as whiteboards and basic projectors. While these tools met basic instructional needs, they hindered real-time interaction and limited the adoption of modern pedagogical methods. As digital education advanced and student expectations grew, the school's leadership recognized the need to move beyond conventional methods toward a more engaging and flexible learning environment.
To facilitate this transition, Huawei organized and conducted four training sessions and proof-of-concept (POC) tests. These sessions equipped teachers and IT teams with the operational knowledge needed for the new interactive whiteboards. The POC also demonstrated the advanced capabilities of the IdeaHub Board, particularly its smart pen functionality.
Huawei deployed its IdeaHub smart classroom and collaboration solution across Ta'allum Group. Following successful POC tests, which demonstrated the solution's usability and pedagogical value in real teaching scenarios, the Group proceeded with a phased deployment across selected schools and departments.
More than 120 classrooms have been equipped with this flagship Huawei product. In total, approximately 100 staff and faculty across two Ta'allum schools have now been trained on the platform, gaining first-hand experience with the new technology.
These classrooms are equipped with Huawei IdeaHub interactive displays, transforming standard learning spaces into modern, interactive smart classrooms. The high-resolution touchscreens enable teachers to present content clearly, annotate lessons in real time, and collaborate seamlessly with students. The solution also supports remote participation and online teaching, extending learning beyond the physical classroom.
The deployment was completed in close coordination with Ta'allum Group's academic technology and IT teams, with ongoing technical support provided by Huawei throughout testing and rollout phases. As the solution required no complex integrations, it ensured rapid implementation and easy adoption by teachers.
Teachers now experience smoother lesson delivery and greater flexibility in presenting digital content, while students benefit from interactive learning, collaboration tools, and increased participation.
The smart classroom solution now supports multiple classes across Ta'allum schools, enabling hybrid learning, remote collaboration, and enhanced communication between educators and students. User feedback has been highly positive, with particular praise for its ease of use, reliability, and positive impact on daily teaching activities.
This initiative represents a major milestone on Ta'allum Group's digital transformation journey in education.
This partnership with Huawei paves the way for building a fully connected campus. Huawei's next-generation Wi-Fi 7 solution has been selected for the new school, Al Gharafa Academy, under the Ta'allum Group.
Huawei's next-generation Wi-Fi 7, powered by CloudCampus, provides the school with ultra-broadband access and consistent low-latency connectivity. This upgrade ensures seamless learning experiences across all environments, eliminating network blind spots and latency issues that previously disrupted hybrid and interactive teaching.
With an ultra-low latency of just 16 ms and hardware equipped with blue-light filter technology, Huawei's smart teaching environment not only safeguards student well-being but also ensures fluid and comfortable engagement during lessons.
Together, this ecosystem of Wi-Fi 7 and IdeaHub empowers Ta'allum to transition from traditional instruction to digitally intelligent education delivery.
Building on the success of the initial rollout, Ta'allum Group plans to expand Huawei's IdeaHub solution across additional campuses and learning facilities to create a fully integrated digital classroom ecosystem. Future plans also include the introduction of advanced learning platforms and digital education tools, supported by ongoing training and capability-building programs for teachers.
With over 15 years of commitment to providing a unique form of holistic education, Ta'allum Group has come to represent excellence and quality service. Driven by this mission, the Group is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and innovative teaching, upholding strong academic standards, and continuously developing learning environments to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving digital world.
