AirEngine 9700D-M Central Access Point

AirEngine 9700D-M is a central Access Point (AP) — used in the Huawei Agile Distributed Wi-Fi Solution — with four 10 GE uplink ports. While the AP directly supports up to 24 Wi-Fi 6 Remote Units (RUs) through network cables, providing them with Power over Ethernet (PoE), support for up to 48 RUs is possible through a PoE switch.

Conveniently providing central control over all connected Wi-Fi 6 RUs, the Huawei AirEngine 9700D-M is designed for environments involving a high density of rooms, complex wall structures, and high service bandwidth requirements, such as schools, hotels, hospitals, and office meeting rooms.

Expand as Needed

Elastic Expansion

Supports direct connection to 24 RUs or a maximum of 48 RUs through a PoE switch.

Converged Management

Easy to Manage

The Access Controller (AC) only needs to manage the AirEngine 9700D-M — RUs do not occupy AC licenses. As a result, only 200 APs are required to cover nearly 10,000 rooms.

Cloud-Based Management

Cloud Management

Customers manage, operate, and maintain APs and services on Huawei’s cloud management platform, saving network Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.
