Huawei also held a dedicated roundtable to review the opportunities and challenges faced by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the intelligent world. Through cutting-edge technological demonstrations and in-depth industry discussions, Huawei aims to help European ISPs build essential network capabilities in the intelligent world and explore new business growth potential.

AI-driven Upgrade of Home and Enterprise Networks

The deep integration of AI with communication networks emerged as the central driver for industrial innovation and advancement. The intelligent transformation of both home broadband and enterprise networks has reached a pivotal juncture. To address ISPs' core needs for growth in both home and enterprise services, Huawei built an ISP network architecture that is well-suited to AI. This architecture covers various scenarios, including home broadband, enterprise private lines, and intelligent O&M.

  • B2H (Business-to-Home): Providing high-quality home broadband networks is a key baseline for ISPs to build competitiveness. By coordinating One Mesh Network and One FTTR Network, Huawei provides home connectivity with excellent coverage, high bandwidth, and low latency. Wi-Fi 7 enables ultra-high rates above 2,000 Mbps, full home coverage, and under 20 ms latency for smooth roaming. Whether it is live streaming, 8K ultra-HD video, smart entertainment, or remote conferencing, all of these services can enjoy smooth and stable network connectivity, laying a solid digital foundation for smart homes.

  • B2B (Business-to-Business): Huawei has created an AI-powered, converged transport network to address enterprise needs for high bandwidth and low latency, enhancing awareness, security, convergence, and O&M. An AI model accurately identifies encrypted traffic, and SRv6 provides differentiated experience assurance. An AI-powered O&M engine significantly boosts network O&M efficiency, ensuring reliable network performance.

  • AI-powered O&M: Huawei's AUTIN platform is designed for three core services of ISPs: home broadband, private lines, and data centers. The platform integrates intelligent fault management, location, and operations support, to automatically identify and rectify faults, as well as distribute tickets. This significantly reduces O&M costs and technical barriers, allowing ISPs to develop business more efficiently.

With intelligent, efficient, and resilient network capabilities, Huawei continuously improves O&M efficiency and user experience, helping customers seize opportunities and open up new growth space in the intelligent world.

Embracing AI: Exploring the New Intelligent Future for ISPs

The roundtable themed Opportunities and Challenges Faced by ISPs in the Intelligent World brought together representatives from European ISP associations and organizations. They explored new paths for ISPs’ service upgrades and business growth in the intelligent world, with the focus on how to leverage AI to enhance network performance, optimize user experience, reduce operational costs, and develop innovative B2B services.
Huawei shared its innovative exploration and successful practices in AI for the ISP field, and elaborated on the scenario-based applications of B2H AI, B2B AI, and AI-powered O&M solutions, aiming to help European ISPs achieve significant business value growth.

As a leading global vendor of ICT infrastructure and smart terminals, Huawei has served more than 8,000 ISPs in over 120 countries and regions with innovative products, solutions, and services. Moving forward, Huawei will keep advancing AI and network integration while collaborating with global customers and partners to accelerate intelligent upgrades for home broadband and enterprise networks. The company aims to bring intelligent to all homes and industries, creating a strong digital base for the future intelligent age.
