HUAWEI @FTTH 2026 in London is an event organized by Huawei Technologies Dusseldorf GmbH, a company duly incorporated and exists under the laws of Germany, and its registered office located at Hansaallee 205, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany (hereinafter referred to as “Huawei”, "we", "us" or "our").
We take your privacy seriously, and take all appropriate security measures to protect it in accordance with the industry's well-established safety standards. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
1) Event Management: After you consent at Huawei booth, Huawei scan your badge and get your personal data which you previously input when register FTTH event. Huawei download this information from the sponsor working portal of FTTH.
2) Promotion of the event: To promote the event, we will make recordings of the exhibition and round table session, take photos or videos of you as visitor or participant to reflect the event in general manner. The two processing scenarios below are all based on our legitimate interests of marketing the event held by us, as per Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you do not wish any further use of the photographs and recordings showing you, please contact us as described in Section 5 of this Statement.
3) Video and Photograph in general about the event / venue: We may take photos to promote the popularity of the event and present the venue in general. Your image may be fully or partially included unintentionally.
4) Improvement of the Event: Based on our legitimate interest to improve the event as per Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, your information will be processed respectively as mentioned below:
- To analyze the event organization, or conduct statistical review, for business participants, your Full Name, Last Name, Email, Company Name, Job Title, Country of Residency, information which per your registration on FTTH website will be processed.
5) Survey: At the venue of Huawei booth, the participants can choose to participate to the survey. Your valued opinions and comments will be submitted with your personal information like Name, Email, Country, Company Industry information. This processing is based on our legitimate interest to perform project review and make improvements in the future, according to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6) Electronic Direct Marketing/EDM: After obtaining your consent according to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, we will process below personal data provided by you during your FTTH online registration to send you EDM emails:
We will process your First Name, Last Name, Email, Company Name, and information per your registration on FTTH website, in order to send you the latest information of products, solutions and services, and the upcoming events available for your region.
The data retention period may vary depending on scenario and service. Unless otherwise stated in Section 4, your personal data will be stored in Ireland. After the retention period expires, we will erase or anonymize your personal data.
