HNS 2024 | Huawei Launches Next-Generation Flagship WAN Product to Accelerate Intelligent Network Upgrade

[Bangkok, Thailand, April 29, 2024] Huawei launched the next-generation flagship WAN product at Xinghe Intelligent WAN Forum held during the Asia Pacific stop of Huawei Network Summit (HNS) 2024. Themed "Huawei Xinghe Intelligent WAN Accelerates Intelligent Industry Upgrade", the forum attracted guests and partners from various industries in the Asia-Pacific region, enabling them to jointly explore future network development and technological innovation.

The next-generation flagship WAN product — NetEngine 8000 F2C — is an ultra-compact and high-density all-service aggregation router. At only 2U high, it delivers a forwarding capacity of 7.2 Tbps and provides 16*400GE or 72*100GE ports. In addition, the router features an all-in-one design, integrating multiple functions (e.g., SR, BNG, PE, and CGN). It also occupies 70% less equipment room space than traditional routers and consumes 40% less power than the industry average, making it the best choice for 400GE network upgrade of customers.

At the forum, Prayuth TungsaNgob, CTO of Huawei's Thailand Enterprise Business Dept., introduced Huawei's Xinghe Intelligent WAN solution in detail. Huawei has launched the Xinghe Intelligent WAN solution to help ISPs upgrade bandwidth, provide key service assurance for energy and transportation communication networks, and achieve intelligent upgrade of self-built government private networks. Leveraging 400GE converged transport, SRv6- and FlexE-based differentiated SLA assurance, and real-time service visualization powered by Network Digital Map, this solution helps accelerate the intelligent upgrade of industry customers' networks.
