The growing demand for digital and intelligent transformation worldwide necessitates robust vulnerability management practices. BSI's Digital Trust Assurance Awards aim to recognize enterprises that excel in building digital trust, and Huawei's achievement is a testament to its dedication to this goal.

Huawei's network security portfolio, which includes firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), anti-DDoS, security posture awareness, and anti-APT products, has demonstrated exceptional vulnerability management capabilities, earning it a spot among the first to receive BSI's certification.

Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. One of Huawei's development strategies is to establish an end-to-end global network security assurance system. To this end, Huawei has established a sustainable and reliable vulnerability management system, which covers policies, organizations, processes, management, technologies, and specifications. Furthermore, Huawei is open to address challenges together with external stakeholders.

Huawei will uphold five key principles in its approach to vulnerability management: reducing harm and risk, minimizing vulnerabilities, proactively managing threats, continuously improving processes, and fostering openness and collaboration. The company will also adhere to industry-recognized standards and best practices to establish a comprehensive and integrated vulnerability management system that spans the entire product lifecycle and supply chain. This system aims to minimize risks for customers operating on live networks.
