SPL TELE and HUAWEI Austria recently agreed on a long-term cooperation in the field of electromobility. HUAWEI will deliver a substantial amount of the HiCharger fast charging module this year to support the ambitious goals of SPL TELE. The cooperation in this field will last at least four years.
Huawei hosted its annual Singapore Ecosystem Summit, entitled “Transform with Growth, Alliance for Action”. The event gathered 2021 participants, including customers, channel business partners, government representatives, academics and industry experts. In his welcome address, Nicholas Ma, CEO of Huawei International Pte Ltd., outlined the growth of Huawei in 2020, citing a global sales revenue of CNY891.4 billion, up by 3.8% YoY. This performance was achieved despite the company facing international challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic.

This annual ICT developer event brought together the industry's best minds, including thought leaders, Huawei scientists, top technical experts, respected opinion leaders, and highly-skilled developers. On April 25, during the 4th Digital China Summit, the Digital Silk Road & China – ASEAN Smart City International Cooperation Forum was held in Fuzhou, China. Representatives of governments, cities, and enterprises from China and ASEAN countries shared their experience in building smart cities at the event aimed at deepening consensus on smart city cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.

At Interop Tokyo, Japan's largest ICT exhibition, Huawei OptiXtrans DC908，as a part of next-generation high-performance inter-DC storage network solution, won the Best of Show Award in the cloud computing infrastructure field, as recognition for its ultra-broadband, intelligent, and comprehensive transmission capabilities. This award builds on the success of 2020, when Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 grabbed the special prize in network infrastructure at Interop.
Huawei's Next-Generation High-Performance Inter-DC Storage Network today won the Runners-up of Interop Tokyo 2021 Best of Show Award in the Cloud Computing (Infrastructure) category. Official reviews from the organizing committee stated, "The solution uses the NVMe over RoCE network protocol and combines three types of devices to achieve high reliability, low latency, and high-bandwidth and cost-effective transmission among data centers." This is the first international award the solution, better known as NoF+, has received.
Huawei SmartLi UPS won the "Special Prize" in the Cloud Computing Best of Show Award category on April 14 at Interop Tokyo 2021. SmartLi UPS is a digital power star product, with ultra-high reliability, ultra-high power density, ultra-high efficiency, and super intelligence.
