Multi-agency Shared National Critical Communication Network

Emergency communication network plays an irreplaceable role in government disaster handling and city management. Unlike the general public communications network, the emergency communications network enables staff to work effectively even in extreme or harsh conditions.

But the government now faces a growing challenge. On the one hand, the global climate and political environment change bring increasing challenges to public safety. On the other hand, the emergency command system that many governments rely on is still based on outdated narrowband communications technologies and is usually constructed by different departments, which not only leads to repeated construction and resource waste, but also makes cross-department collaboration difficult.

With the development of new technologies such as 4G/5G, big data, cloud computing, and AI, governments are increasingly in urgent need of a new emergency command network to handle increasingly complex public security challenges. The new network should be able to integrate voice, data, video, and location services to help the government improve incident warning, on-site awareness, and on-site handling capabilities. It also supports sharing among multiple departments to save government investment and improve cross-department collaboration efficiency. This new network form is Multi-agency Shared National Critical Communication Network. Currently, more and more governments have adopted this technology and deployed the network.

Benefits

Co-construction and sharing, converged command

• Unified network communication between different departments facilitates cross-department collaboration and joint command.
• Reduce investment in network construction and improve spectral efficiency and value.
• Sharing equipment and application industry chains facilitates long-term network development.

Mature, secure, and trustworthy solutions

• Huawei is the most professional 3GPP-based MCPTX solution and is the first vendor to deploy eMBMS-based MCPTT on a large scale.
• Complete and rich ICT product families, cooperate with numerous partners to provide end-to-end solutions for government customers. (terminal, network, service application, security control, etc.)
• The first vendor to pass the Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme (NESAS) certification for LTE and 5G.

Flexible networking, future-oriented

• Provides the most flexible and diversified network sharing solutions to meet different customers' requirements for security isolation and independent control on shared networks.
• Based on advanced 4G and 5G technologies, Huawei provides a 4G/5G convergence solution, which helps customers prepare for long-term network evolution and save investment.
