Richard Wu, Vice President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Xinghe Intelligent Network: Leading AI-Powered Network Innovation, Maximizing Digital–Intelligent Productivity". In the speech, he said, " The fast-developing AI technologies are propelling the data communication industry into the AI-powered era. To keep pace, Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Network creates AI-powered connectivity by fully leveraging AI capabilities of all series of devices and deep collaboration with NetMaster (a network AI agent). The resulting benefits include AI-powered experience, AI-powered assurance, AI-powered resilience, and AI-powered security."

AI-Powered Experience: Xinghe Intelligent Campus, Leading Experience-Centric Networks

A survey report shows that the Wi-Fi adoption rate of global governments and enterprises is expected to increase from 53% to 79%. However, the Wi-Fi adoption progress in security-sensitive industries such as public services and finance is slow due to Wi-Fi security concerns. In response, Huawei has launched the industry's first Wi-Fi 7 Shield solution, an innovation that uses AI signal scrambling technology to implement physical-layer encryption and prevent data leakage. To date, this solution has been highly recognized by customers worldwide, for example, a key government agency in Egypt, to enable fully-wireless secure working on the campus.

Furthermore, Huawei's intelligent experience assurance engine leverages intelligent application identification, all-flow scheduling, and all-flow analysis to preferentially guarantee encrypted applications like mainstream conferencing software. This enables observable and schedulable network-wide experience and greatly improves operations and maintenance (O&M) efficiency.

AI-Powered Assurance: Xinghe Intelligent WAN, Accelerating Industry Intelligence

In the electric power field, the development of new energy drives electric power networks to be IP-based. However, traditional IP networks cannot meet the strict requirements of services such as relay protection on the two-way delay difference of less than 200 μs. Huawei Xinghe Intelligent WAN addresses this with a groundbreaking AI jitter elimination algorithm to optimize link delay in real time, reducing the two-way delay difference to 3 μs, which is 20 times higher than that of traditional SDH. By deploying Huawei solution, an industry pioneer in South Africa, for example, has replaced SDH devices and smoothly migrated services to IP networks.

In government scenarios, digitalization drives the explosion of applications. However, the application identification accuracy on traditional networks is only 70%. To address this, Huawei introduces convolutional neural network (CNN)-based AI feature extraction technology to improve the application identification accuracy to over 95%. On top of that, Huawei draws on network slicing to provide service assurance for key applications, achieving efficient digital government operations.

AI-Powered Resilience: Xinghe Intelligent Fabric, Creating Always-on Data Center Network With Zero Computing Loss

Nowadays, AI applications are booming and online transaction volumes are surging. Any network configuration errors may cause huge losses. Especially in industry-specific model training scenarios, highly reliable components such as optical modules in data centers is the key to fully unleashing computing power. Against this backdrop, Huawei has upgraded its Xinghe Intelligent Fabric solution to ensure high stability of enterprise networks.

Specifically, this solution stands out for two core technologies. One is integrated network-security simulation technology powered by the Xingtu AI optimal policy algorithm and Centralized Model-Operation Simulation (CMOS) algorithm. This technology can sort out millions of security policies in 2 minutes and simulate 3000 devices within 3 minutes, helping customers perform error-free network changes. The other technology is optical channel loss resistance technology used on Huawei's StarryLink optical modules. This technology improves optical module reliability by 10 times while ensuring month-level uninterrupted cluster training.

AI-Powered Security: Xinghe Intelligent Network Security, Building Network Security Cornerstone

Nowadays, ransomware attacks have evolved into industry-wide threats, becoming the top network security risk in Northern Africa. Statistics show that a ransomware attack causes a loss of US$4.5 million on average. Facing such challenges, Huawei has further innovated its Xinghe Intelligent Network Security Solution to build a comprehensive protection system with three core capabilities. Specifically, AI-powered border firewalls enable a 95% high unknown threat detection rate, HiSec Endpoint with over 2000 protection points ensures 100% data recovery, and the AI-powered source tracing graph engine enables correlation analysis of 100 hops on the entire network to pinpoint the threat source. The national social security bureau in a country, for example, leveraged Huawei's solution to complete threat source tracing and path restoration within three days after a ransomware attack, successfully resolving the crisis.

Huawei also dives deeper into commercial markets and opens up network AI agent capabilities to partners, helping build 24/7 HCIE expert-assured networks. This reduces the ticket closure time from days to minutes, greatly improving partners' efficiency and capability of serving customers. Moreover, Huawei provides a wide range of industry scenario-specific solutions — which are differentiated from other vendors' offerings — to fully meet unique scenario needs. Huawei's feature-rich solutions improve partners' win rate and premium value.

For global distribution markets, Huawei continuously focuses on typical high-value scenarios such as small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) offices, budget hotels, and commercial stores. By enhancing the competitiveness of scenario-specific solutions and unveiling more best sellers, Huawei is always a trusted partner for SMEs to go digital and intelligent for success. Furthermore, Huawei provides the one-click AI troubleshooting function that integrates 33 typical fault operator libraries for a detection accuracy of 90%. In this way, partners can remotely resolve typical issues within 1 minute on their mobile phones, greatly improving O&M efficiency.

Looking ahead, Huawei will further deepen AI-powered Xinghe Intelligent Network innovation and collaborate with African customers to accelerate intelligent transformation. By converging AI technologies and network solutions, Huawei will push forward digital and intelligent development and help all industries to explore new value, seize new opportunities, and stride into a digital and intelligent future.
