Huawei hosts inaugural conference for European partners

[Como, Italy, April 10-11, 2024] Huawei, the leading ICT technology company, has launched its first ever Huawei European Partner Conference 2024 to build a robust ecosystem with its partners.

The conference saw more than 1000 European partners attend the Grow Together, Win Future event in Como, Italy, as Huawei looks to consolidate partner co-operation to better serve customers looking for quality ICT solutions.

Huawei has made rapid gains in partner development counting more than 5000 partners in its ecosystem portfolio. This includes Europe’s leading distributors, gold, silver and value-added partners, and over 800 association partners such as solution development or service partners.

With green and digital transformation of industries under way in Europe, Huawei is looking to further strengthen its work with partners supported by the company’s stable business performance and substantial R&D expenditure.

Last year Huawei posted an increase of over 9% year-on-year to 90 billion EUR in revenue and re-invested 23.3 % in research and development. The company employs over 13,000 people in Europe with 27 R&D centers in 13 countries.

“Our long-term strategy is about having an open, fair and transparent partner ecosystem. That’s why we’re introducing our CO-BEST strategy, which is Cooperation to Build a Win-Win Ecosystem through Solutions and Trust. We are making multiple investments for shared success with partners. From joint product development and E2E visibility to guaranteed and quick supplies. We also built a service platform and launch a strong policy support,” said Willi Song, President of European Enterprise Business, Huawei.

As part of its commitment to reinforce partner collaboration, Huawei also revised partner incentives and enablement programmes, and will offer marketing support with joint opportunities. “We are committed to open and win-win collaboration and want to grow together with our partners,” added Song.

In addition to Huawei’s European enterprise strategy and a new partner policy for 2024, Huawei Cloud introduced a partner system framework ‘Go Cloud, Grow Cloud’ to enable more partners to develop new business. Considering the importance of offline deployment and local data storage requirements of enterprise, Huawei Cloud released a typical cloud deployment mode called Huawei Cloud Stack.

Huawei also officially presented the go-to-market strategy during the conference, with a portfolio of new ICT products in data communication, storage and optical networks, including:

• a full range of Wi-Fi 7 APs with the industry’s first and most flexible multi-GE campus network;
• the industry’s first Active-Active Storage for Small & Medium Organizations, consisting of Entry-level All-flash Storage OceanStor Dorado 2000/2100 and OceanProtect X3000, Entry-level Backup Storage & Appliance;
• the industry’s 1st 50G PON OLT, Wi-Fi 7 ONT, Full Fiber Campus
• new Huawei eKit products dedicated for Distribution Market

The Huawei European Partner Conference 2024 also provided an opportunity for partners and customers to share their success stories and concluded with an award ceremony recognizing partners who made outstanding contributions in 2023. With the theme of Grow Together, Win Future, the conference provided a valuable platform for partners to network, experience new products and solutions, and discuss future co-operation.
