[Barcelona, Spain, February 27, 2024] At MWC Barcelona 2024, Huawei unveiled the Campus Digital Platform Portfolio Solution for markets outside China. The launch was part of the session titled "Redefine Intelligent Campus with ICT, High-Quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus Accelerates Digitalization", which acted as a gathering of global business leaders, industry partners, and technical experts. Together, they discussed how ICT could be used to promote the intelligent transformation of campuses.

He said that digitalization, intelligence, and low carbon are critical topics we need to deal with in the intelligent world. "Huawei has more than 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. We've leveraged our expertise and device-edge-pipe-cloud synergy to redefine the campus. The aim is to interconnect devices, converge data, and aggregate businesses. Huawei and its partners are currently serving over 1000 campus customers worldwide. We aim to help them build next-generation intelligent campuses that are efficient, green, and convenient. Going forward, Huawei will continue to rethink fundamental theories, reshape architectures, and reinvent software to drive the digital and intelligent transformations of campuses."
Kevin Su, CEO of Huawei Campus Team, delivered a keynote speech at the session. He said that the campus is a basic unit of the city and the cornerstone of building an intelligent world. "We should digitalize campuses centering around the enterprise architecture methodology as it covers business, information, and technology," he explained. "Looking towards the future, with the reference architecture for intelligence at the forefront, Huawei will work with partners to redefine campus with ICTs and stride towards an intelligent world."
Shawn Zhao, President of the Campus Network Domain, Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, gave a keynote speech at the session. He stated that "High-quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus is experience-centric and aligns with enterprises' expectations for upgraded wireless, application, and O&M experiences. It will lead campus networks to the experience-centric era from the connectivity-centric era."
Mathabo Nakene-Mginqi, Vice Principal ICT/CIO at the University of South Africa (UNISA), shared that Huawei collaborated with the University to set a plan for the campus and analyze its ICT needs. The University and Huawei developed a suite of intelligent campus solutions that benefit its long-term development. Huawei will continue working with UNISA to make its campus more efficient, sustainable, and convenient.
