Huawei announced the IoT Security White Paper 2018 in the fourth IoT Solutions World Congress. This white paper analyzes current IoT security technologies and potential security threats. It also describes the 3T+1M IoT security architecture proposed by Huawei in 2017 that demonstrates an IoT security technology evolution, research updates, and best practices. It discusses how to build IoT security ecosystems by working with governments, industry, standardization/certification organizations, and industry alliances. Huawei works with stakeholders to explore and address the security risks and privacy protection requirements brought about by new technologies and encourage rapid and sustainable development of the IoT industry.
