DBS5900 Distributed Base Stations

The DBS5900 is a wireless access device for the eLTE wireless broadband private network solution. It provides wireless access functions, including air interface management, access control, mobility control, and user resource allocation. The DBS5900 can meet the needs of industry users for wireless broadband access and multimedia critical communication, and obtain better coverage and user experience. The DBS5900 adopts a modular structure, with the baseband unit BBU and remote radio unit RRU deployed separately. The DBS5900 has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, flexible installation, and rapid deployment.
Advanced Technologies

Supported Frequency Band

The DBS5900 has two frequency mode: FDD and TDD, supporting 3GPP standard spectrum like FDD 700M/800M/850MHz, TDD, and other industry spectrum like TDD 400MHz and 1.8GHz

Open Architecture

Distributed Architecture

The distributed architecture is adopted to separate the RF unit part of the base station from the baseband unit part, connecting the two parts through optical fiber, which minimizes the feeder loss and helps to improve the coverage of the base station. The RF unit is no longer limited to the equipment room. It can be flexibly installed by means of poles or walls, realizing the network construction in zero room, reducing the network construction cost by at least 30%, and greatly shortening the network deployment period

Converged Forwarding

Critical Communication

The DBS5900 supports the critical communication QoS Class Identifier(QCI) to ensure the performance of critical communications
