Huawei Philippines hosted the annual IP Club event, showcasing its latest technological advancements under the theme "Stride to Intelligent IP – Innovation, Excellence, Sustainability” at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City on August 29, 2024.
This year, the spotlight was on the launch of Huawei’s Wi-Fi 7 All-Scenario Innovations and the Ethernet Green Network PEN Solution, both designed to drive the future of business and accelerate digital transformation across industries.

Executives from Enterprise Business Group from Huawei Philippines and fellow executives from our customers led the unveiling of the All-Scenario Wi-Fi 7 for High-Quality 10GE Campus Networks.
The new AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 series introduces groundbreaking features such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and VIP assurance, setting a new benchmark in wireless networking.
This next-generation technology delivers exceptional speed, lower latency, and enhanced reliability, making it the ideal solution for diverse business applications.
“Huawei’s R&D efforts have been pivotal in advancing Wi-Fi 7, aiming to redefine wireless standards and support the ever-growing demands of the digital era,” said Mr. Nie.
Meanwhile, another highlight was Huawei’s Passive Ethernet Network (PEN) Solution that offers a simplified network architecture that combines the benefits of Ethernet protocol with passive optical architecture.
This innovation is designed to provide exclusive 10GE connectivity, significantly reducing cabling costs by up to 70% and power consumption by 30% through integrated AI-powered management.
The PEN solution is particularly recommended for education and healthcare sectors, contributing to greener, more sustainable campus environments while facilitating rapid digital transformation.
This year’s IP Club opened new doors for the rapid growth of the Datacom product line showcasing the advancements it can bring not only to the current roster of customers and partners but to the future of the network industry as well.
“Huawei’s Enterprise business has been growing steadily. Looking into the future, we see a digital world where everything is connected intelligently through IP addresses, hence the term ‘IP on Everything,’ said Mr. Nie.
“Through the use of IP networks, all things and applications can be connected, laying the foundation for digital development,” he concluded.
