Gli switch della serie CE8800 (CE8800 in breve) sono switch Ethernet di nuova generazione con schede flessibili realizzati per reti per data center e reti campus di alto livello, fornendo alte prestazioni, densità dell'interfaccia elevata e una bassa latenza.
Gli switch della serie CE8800 forniscono porte 10 GE, 25 GE, 40 GE e 100 GE ad alta densità, oltre a supportare una gamma estesa di funzionalità per data center e tecnologie di stacking ad alte prestazioni, aiutando le aziende e i gestori a costruire reti per data center orientate al cloud. Gli switch della serie CE8800 possono servire come switch core o di aggregazione sia nelle reti dei data center sia nelle reti campus.
Gli switch della serie CE8800 possono interagire con gli switch delle serie CE12800, CE7800, CE6800 o CE5800 per creare una rete data center cloud scalabile, semplificata, aperta e sicura.
Scalabilità
Il CE8880 è il primo switch di accesso 25 GE in assoluto. Il design 2U offre un massimo di 32 porte 100 GE, 64 porte 40 GE, 128 porte 25 GE o 128 porte 10 GE. Il CE8880 supporta più schede diverse per fornire capacità di un accesso flessibile ad alta densità e di aggregazione

Il CE8800 supporta VXLAN in modo da funzionare come gateway hardware ad alte prestazioni su una rete di virtualizzazione overlay per supportare 16 milioni di enti/società.
Intelligenza
Il CE8800 supporta il funzionamento e la manutenzione intelligente, report proattivi dei dati gRPC ad alta velocità, il rilevamento proattivo dei percorsi di rete ampi e il monitoraggio in tempo reale dello stato della rete.
