iMaster NCE-IP implements automatic service provisioning for Internet Protocol (IP) networks through service abstraction and model driving. It provides multiple service configuration templates for mainstream services, simplifying service provisioning parameter configurations. It also supports batch service provisioning, automatic parameter verification, service-driven automatic creation, centralized tunnel and path computation based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) constraints, a simplified service provisioning process, and SLA assurance.

Network Path Navigation

iMaster NCE-IP centrally computes paths based on overall network topology and tunnel information and implements global optimization to improve network bandwidth utilization to 80%. It locally optimizes congested tunnels and links by using a process that causes minimal impact on the entire network. Centralized configuration and management of Traffic Engineering (TE) topology information and tunnel constraints simplifies network Operations and Maintenance (O&M).

Network Optimization

The platform implements full-lifecycle automatic management, including creation, monitoring, adjustment, and deletion. Network slicing uses Flexible Ethernet (FlexE) or channelized interfaces to divide one physical network into multiple slices. These slices achieve hard bandwidth isolation and carry services independently, allowing carriers to use one network for multiple purposes.

Configuration Verification

• Operating on a simulation platform, this feature takes the original configurations and configuration changes as inputs to simulate routing protocols and traffic and evaluate risks. By doing so, it prevents incorrect configurations from infiltrating the live network.
• It covers 90% of network protocols and ensures 0 configuration error on the network.
• Route simulation results include routing blackholes, routing loops, and sudden surge/drop of routes. Traffic simulation results include traffic interruption, packet loss, and sudden surge/drop of traffic.
