About Huawei ICT Competition
An international competition and exchange platform
The Huawei ICT Competition is intended for students in Huawei ICT academies and those in higher education institutions that are willing to join the ICT Academy worldwide. Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange ideas, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills as well as increasing their ability to innovate by using new technologies and platforms. Since the first edition in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition's influence has only kept growing. The 6th Huawei ICT Competition is currently underway, and it has attracted 150,000 students from over 2,000 universities and colleges across 85 countries and regions.

Competitions
Practice Competition The Practice Competition includes the Network and Cloud Tracks, which examine students' theoretical knowledge and hands-on ICT skills as well as their ability to work in a team. Participants will be ranked according to their scores for theoretical and lab exams.
Innovation Competition Students will use ICTs (such as AI, IoT, big data, and cloud) to resolve real-life problems, propose solutions that have social and business value, and design models with comprehensive functions.
Industry Competition This is a new competition this year. Students will help industries solve real challenges. Under the guidance of their instructors, students will perform extensive research and propose innovative solutions that combine their knowledge of ICTs and industry know-how.
Special Awards
TECH4ALL Digital Inclusion Award Huawei believes that no one should be left behind in the digital world, so we developed TECH4ALL, a long-term, digital inclusion initiative for using technology, applications and skills to empower people and organizations in education, environment, health and development.
Women in Tech Award This award is set to recognize and encourage outstanding women participating in this competition. We aim to inspire more women to join technology innovation, drive the growth of the ICT industry, promote social integration, contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, and build a more inclusive and diverse society.
