This compact outdoor macro base station supports the evolution of Huawei’s GSM-R 5.0 networks to eLTE broadband networks. It features large, scalable capacity in a small footprint, and multiple-mode applications that meet the requirements of long-distance railways.
The base station cabinet contains a maximum of six RF modules. In addition, its MRFU double-radio frequency units are important components of GSM-R and eLTE.
The outdoor base stations are managed by an O&M system using either MML commands or a GUI. The system is hardware-independent and meets users’ various O&M requirements. It can be deployed with distributed base stations at the same sites to reduce site deployment costs and customer investment.
