Colin Iles has held senior executive positions for a number of tier one financial institutions and has worked in London, Frankfurt, Singapore and South Africa. He also founded the award-winning Equinox Leadership and Innovation Centre and was deputy chair of the African Institute of Financial Markets Risk Management. In 2019 he left financial services to create his own consultancy which offers disruptive interventions for courageous leaders looking to transform from linear to exponential thinking. Whether presenting, facilitating or consulting, Colin mixes his professional experiences with humour, deep research and razor-sharp intellect to ensure his audiences stretch their thinking as to where the real opportunities lie, and help equip teams to thrive in a world where change is now exponential.

CEO of the JSE listed Purple Group

Mr. Charles is CEO of the JSE listed Purple Group - a fintech group democratising access to all things trading & investing. Actively involved in Fintech for +17 years, Charles was one of the pioneers of Spread & CFD trading in South Africa in his role as CTO of GT247.com in 2000. He is the founder & CEO of EasyEquities, a multi award winning fintech platform, democratising access to share ownership everywhere. Charles completed a BCom Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Cape Town in 1996.
Prior to joining GT247.com, he served as a Sales and Marketing Director for an internet development company, Dockside Internet. The last 17 years of his career have been spent in financial markets with a strong focus on technology, business development and leadership. Elected CEO of the Purple Group in 2011, he is now responsible for strategically leading the operating business units of the group which include GT247.com, EasyEquities, and Emperor Asset Management.

Ronald Raffensperger

Ron brings over 30 years of experience in the IT, software and telecom industries to his role providing insights and solutions to financial industry customers. He has a broad background in high-performance computing, databases, cloud computing and big data. Prior to joining Huawei in 2007, Mr. Raffensperger was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sylantro Systems, a U.S.-based provider of advanced voice applications. Ron has held senior positions at Siemens, IBM and ROLM Telecommunications, along with startup companies in the database and SaaS industries.
