With over 15 years of experience in evolving business models across the financial services sector, Mathi will be showcasing his experience to discuss topics including the Huawei Mainframe System modernisation to cloud, and what this technology will mean for incumbents in the current landscape. Chris joined LzLabs GmbH as Technical Sales Professional in 2020. From 2007 – 2020 he worked within Accenture UK as a manager with the UK FS Mainframe modernization team. Prior to this Chris worked for both consultancy companies and financial institutions on various mainframes and client server technologies.

Chris has worked with many globally renown companies across various industries modernizing and developing their mainframe applications.

Mathi is Solution Expert of Financial Solutions Business, Solutions and Planning – Banking, Financial Markets and IT Services at Huawei Technologies, Shenzhen, China. Mathi’s responsibilities include the further development of Huawei’s Financial Services Industry Strategy with research and formulation of new solutions encompassing technology and business architectures, emerging technologies centered on AI/Analytics, Blockchain, Mobile/Digital and IoT transformation, and evolving business models in the FinTech / RegTech era across the financial services sector. Prior joining Huawei Financial services business Dept, Mathi was leading Huawei overseas E-commerce platform “vmall” operations.

Prior to joining Huawei in 2015, Mathi was a Senior Technical leader at Cisco Systems, India, and overseeing Cisco’s Global Enterprise Infrastructure Services Team (GIS) and Enterprise Release Management Office (ERMO). Mathi has spent most of his 15+ years of his career with GE, CTS , Cisco in Americas, and Asia regions working holding various senior solutions/technical lead roles such as Solutions Architect, Senior Technical leader, Solutions Manager. Mathi holds Bachelor of Technology degree in IT from University of Madras, India and also multiple industry and professional certifications focused on full-scale enterprise architecture and technology in the Financial Services Industry.
