The Huawei Middle East TechTalks 2021 Contest is organized by HUAWEI TECH (UAE) FZ LLC., with registered address of Huawei Gloria Building, Al Falak Street, Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Please read the following terms and conditions ("T&Cs") carefully. You agree that, by participating in this Webinar, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you meet all the competition eligibility requirements as provided herein below.

ELIGIBILITY:

• You should be a legal resident of Middle East region including United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Pakistan only; you have an address within the territory of Middle East region

• You are of age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the contest.

• Huawei employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents,

• Siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising/media agencies are not eligible to enter this contest.

How to win the activation prize:

1. This activity will start from the webinar “Enjoy Fully-Wireless Campus Network with Huawei CloudCampus 3.0” on April 19, 2021.

2. Participant must register and attend at least one TechTalks webinar from April to June 2021 on the Huawei website to be eligible for the prize.

3. Share your own unique referral link with your industry peers. Your unique referral link will be generated automatically after your registration. You will receive a reminder email & and one referral point once someone from your referrals has registered successfully.

4. Only your unique referral link can contribute to your points.

5. Get more points by inviting more people to register using your referral link. The top 3 prizes will be given to those who invite the most participants.

6. There are 3 prizes for this activity – 1st Prize - HUAWEI Watch GT2, 2nd Prize - HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 wireless earphones, 3rd Prize - Huawei power bank.

7. Huawei will announce the top 3 winners at the end of each webinar on TechTalks official website: https://e.huawei.com/topic/2021-event-me-techtalks/ae/index.html

8. The prizes will be delivered to the winners & can only be delivered to United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Pakistan.

9. The delivery fee will be paid by Huawei.

10. Huawei will contact the winners through the registered email address, please make sure the email address.

11. Huawei reserves all rights including explanation and description of the activity.

How to win the quiz prize:

1. The prize will only be given to those Webinar attendees who participate in the Huawei TechTalks 2021 during April to June, 2021 from the Huawei mini-site.

2. The participants should participate in all the Quick Response Questions during the sessions and will be randomly selected by the system to have a chance to win a prize.

3. The participants must also submit the survey questionnaire.

4. 1 Huawei power bank is awarded for each winner and there are 2 prepared for each webinar. Huawei will announce each 2 winners at the end of each webinar on TechTalks official website: https://e.huawei.com/topic/2021-event-me-techtalks/ae/index.html

5. One Person cannot receive more than 1 prize.

6. The logistic and delivery fee will be paid by Huawei. Huawei will contact the winners for their contact details and delivery of the prizes

7. The gift can only be deliver to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Pakistan.

8. Huawei reserves all rights including explanation and description of the activity above.

How to win the questioner prize:

1. The prize will only be given to those Webinar attendees who participate in the Huawei TechTalks 2021 during April to June,2021 from the Huawei mini-site.

2. The participants should fill in the questioner during the webinars and will be randomly selected by the system to have a chance to win a prize.

3. 1 free-pass to Huawei Middle East IP Club Carnival and 1 Huawei Watch GT2 are awarded to one winner for each webinar. Huawei will announce the winner at the end of each webinar on TechTalks official website: https://e.huawei.com/topic/2021-event-me-techtalks/ae/index.html

4. Huawei Middle East IP Club Carnival is scheduled to held in Dubai (offline), July 2021.

5. One Person cannot receive more than 1 prize.

Terms and Conditions

• The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with these T&Cs.

• Each Prize will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

• The prizes are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value on our sole discretion. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• If any Winner does not respond back to claim their prize within thirty (30) days from the announcement date then they will cease their right to claim their prize anymore and Huawei shall not be liable for the same.

• Huawei is not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer or mobile resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Contest.

• Huawei reserves the right for final interpretation for the campaign and the right to change without announcement. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change the T&Cs or cancel the Contest at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Contest should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest or submission of entries. The decision made by the Huawei Team will be considered as final.

Miscellaneous

The Contest is governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction of Middle East regions. The Contest and all accompanying materials are © by Huawei, or its affiliates. All rights reserved. No requests for transfer or assignment or redemption of the benefits shall be entertained. Participation in the Contest constitutes participant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official T&Cs (as modified from time to time in this regard) and you agree that all our decisions related to the Contest are final and binding on you. Winning a prize is being contingent and compliant with these official rules and requirements set forth herein. Failure by us to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person. The decision of Huawei shall at all times be binding and final. These T&Cs are subject to applicable laws and the courts shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes or any matter arising here from.

Force Majeure

This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, pandemic, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Huawei ("Force Majeure Event"). Huawei shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the participants in the Contest including the winners as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

Publicity Release

By participating in the Contest, you give Huawei and/ or their affiliates permission to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made in relation to the Contest and any promotions, events, or contests to follow. You agree that Huawei and/ or their affiliates have the right to publish your saved item details for any communication, promotions, events, or contests that follow. You agree that Huawei and/ or their affiliates have complete ownership of such pictures, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose. These uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any medium now known or later developed, including the internet. You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation, etc. for the use of such pictures, etc., and hereby release Huawei and/ or their affiliates and its agents and assigns from any and all claims which arise out of or are in any way connected with such use. You give your consent to Huawei and/ or their affiliates, agents and assigns to use your name and likeness to promote the Contest and any promotions, events, or contests to follow.

Liability Release

This Contest is being made purely on a "best effort" basis and participating in this Contest is voluntary. By participating in the Contest, you will be legally bound hereby, to release from liability, and hold harmless Huawei and/or any of their affiliates, employees or agents representing or related to Huawei and their services/products. This release is for any and all liability for personal injuries (including death), property loss or damage, direct, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of use, data, business or profits) and misuse of the benefits/ Prizes offered under this Contest, in connection with any activity or directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, or participation in the Contest, even if caused or contributed to by our negligence, whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not Huawei have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
