    Vincent Garnier is the Director General of the FTTH Council Europe since July 2020. Vincent brings to this position 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, in Marketing and Business Development in EMEA and Asia for BtoB companies. Most recently he was Marketing Director responsible for defining the marketing strategies for the broadband solutions at CommScope, a global network infrastructure provider company. Prior to joining CommScope, Mr Garnier worked in international business development at TKH Group N.V. and as a Marketing Manager at Prysmian Group & Exide Technologies. Vincent Garnier has been actively involved in the FTTH Council Europe activities for several years. He became a Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer in 2019.

Przemysław was repeatedly able to leverage his telecommunication expertise to arrange effective transmission routes connecting London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Moscow, Almaty and Beijing via the fastest possible transmission routes going via Poland. This significantly contributed to establishing Warsaw’s position as a major data hub bridging Western Europe with CEE, Russia, CIS countries and China. Przemysław regularly contributes to product development projects of HAWE Telekom, oriented on areas including edge computing, CDN, Smart City and 5G.

    Mr. Payton is currently the Technical Director of Colt Data Center Services, focusing on design and build of sustainable hyperscale data center facilities. He has an engineering career that spans over 30 years in mechanical, electrical and information technology solutions. Scott also serves on the Telecommunications Industry Association technical committees TR-42 and TR-60, which develop standards for the ITC industry, including TIA-942 and supporting standards. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management and is in the thesis stage of his Doctorate with the topic Human Error Management in the Data Center. Scott is a US Air Force veteran, having served as an engineer in the Minuteman II systems.

    Wolfgang Heer

    Mr. Heer is an economist with 20 years of experience in the ICT field. He started his career as an assistant to deputies of the German Parliament before serving as spokesperson of a federal ministry. He then moved on to work for ICT enterprises and a German telco association. Since 2011, he has represented 160 enterprises deploying FTTB/H-networks in Germany on a local and regional basis as CEO of BUGLAS, the federal association for optical fiber access in Germany. Mr. Heer is also the co-founder of, and spokesman for, the European Local Fibre Alliance (ELFA), an umbrella organization of 11 national associations for alternative public and private local fiber operators drawn from eight European member states.

    Hank joined Huawei in 2011 after working for over 20 years in the networking industry. Initially he helped build the Huawei Enterprise service business in Western Europe, and in 2012 took over responsibility for the worldwide Service Marketing organization for which he relocated to the Huawei HQ in Shenzhen. As an industry expert he advises the leadership team on a variety of topics, leveraging his many years of experience. Hank frequently travels abroad to meet customers, partners, analysts and other experts to understand their needs and perspectives and to share his view on the future of the ICT service industry. Hank is a frequent speaker at international events and has published several articles about the ICT industry Hank started his professional career in 1990 at a Networking Systems Integrator in the Netherlands. He joined Cisco Systems in 1994 where he worked for over 15 years in the services organization in various leadership positions. He has held positions in service delivery, product management, marketing and sales both in Europe and in Cisco’s headquarter in California.

Dustin holds an MSc. from the London School of Economics and a BA from University of California, Davis.

    Rod Faul is Kao Data’s Senior Client Director and is responsible for looking after the company’s key strategic partnerships with customers and our wider data centre supply channel. With 30-years experience within the telco and data centre sectors Rod joined Kao Data in December 2020 from Virtus where he, and the sales team, were instrumental in growing the company’s data centre portfolio. His large-scale commercial contract wins contributed to transforming the organisation from a single location data centre operator to a brand now responsible for operating 100MW’s of capacity. Prior to that, Rod’s experience across telco included senior positions at Level3 and Telefonica.

    Mr. Pastore is working in the storage industry since almost 20 years, helping European companies to adopt new leading edge and disruptive technologies. Started his storage career in the early years of the Flash-Era, when the first products based on NAND technology were appearing in the market. In 2010 he was at STEC Inc. (one of the pioneer of Enterprise SSDs) responsible to introduce flash solutions into the European market, at that time completely dominated by hard disk drives. Before joining Huawei in March 2020, he has covered different leadership roles, marketing new forerunner technologies like Object Storage (in 2014) and Distributed Scale-out Software Defined Storage (2016). He has also been strategic advisors in some European IT Start-ups around Kubernetes.
