INTRODUCTION
With the booming digital economy, various industries are in urgent need of ICT talent. According to a World Bank report, the ICT talent gap will reach 2 million in the next five years. Closing such a large gap is not easy, and it cannot be done by a single company or a handful of companies on their own.
The coronavirus is changing the world, especially the model of education is highly affected. Huawei Philippines would like launch the Learn ON program, aiming to address the educational needs of University-based ICT talent affected by the epidemic. The program brings together university partners and offers students/instructors incentive funds, the latest technology training, online experiments, certification program, covering cutting-edge technology fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, 5G, and the Internet of Things.
