All-In Talk | FRMCS based Next-Generation Train Control System, Tackles Key Challenges of Heavy-Haul Railways

At MWC2026, Ren Zaiming, Deputy General Manager of CRSC International, and Raymond Zuo, President of Huawei's Smart Rail BU, joined All-In Talk. They shared the innovative practice of the FRMCS-based next-generation train control system co-developed by the two sides, addressed the core challenges of heavy-haul railways, and compressed the train headway to less than 5 minutes with virtual coupling and moving block technologies. This helps boost the single-line transport capacity by 60%, greatly improving railway operational efficiency and empowering rail transportation to achieve capacity increment, efficiency improvement and safety upgrade.
