OptiX PTN 900 series is the new generation of multi-service access devices applicable to packet transport networks. OptiX PTN 900 products apply on the access side of bearer networks. With a compact design, OptiX PTN 900 products support flexible installation and simple operation and management (O&M). OptiX PTN 900 products support a full spectrum of services, functions, and interface types, which are capable of network-wide full service bearing.

PTN 906 A: A new generation access device. Placed on the side of the small cell, and provides power to small cell via POE. PTN 906 A NE supports rapid and easy rollout and provide service interfaces, such as FE and GE interfaces.
PTN 905 B/D: A compact access device that supports VIP private line access. With the easy-to-install and easy-to-maintain feature, PTN 905 A/B NEs are widely used as terminal access devices. PTN 905 A/B NEs support rapid and easy rollout and provide service interfaces, such as E1, FE, and GE interfaces.
PTN 910-F: A 1U-high case-shaped device. PTN 910-F NEs support various service interfaces, such as E1, FE, and GE interfaces. They provide AC or DC power supply modules and are easy to install. Each PTN 910-F NE supports uniformed access for various services, such as 2G, 3G, Long Term Evolution (LTE), and VIP private line.
PTN 910: A 1U-high device with flexible cards installed. PTN 910 NEs support various types of service interfaces, such as E1, FE, GE, x digital subscriber line (xDSL), and Synchronous Transport Module level 1 (STM-1) interfaces.
PTN 950: A 2U-high access device with flexible cards installed. PTN 950 NEs support various interfaces, such as E1, FE, GE, and STM-1 interfaces. PTN 950 NEs are highly reliable access devices on which the main control boards and power supply modules work in 1+1 redundancy mode.
PTN 960: A 2U-high 10GE access device that is the most compact in the field. A PTN 960 NE can share a cabinet with a base station. The PTN 960 NE supports 4 x 10GE access interfaces, scaling the switching capacity up to 56 Gbit/s. The PTN 960 NE also supports a variety of service interfaces, such as E1, FE, GE, 10GE, and STM-1 interfaces. Flexible cards are installed on the PTN 960 NE to provide flexible access for the proliferation of services. The PTN 960 NE works reliably, with both the main control boards and power supply modules working in 1+1 redundancy mode.

Product Characteristics

Any Media Access:

  • Supports service interfaces, such as E1, FE, GE, xDSL, and STM-1, which provides access for a full range of protocols, such as time division multiplexing (TDM), asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), Ethernet, and IP.
    • Supports various services, such as E-Line, E-LAN, Layer 3 private network (L3VPN), circuit emulation service (CES), and ATM, and provides access and transmission for 2G, 3G, LTE, and VIP private line services.
  • Supports POE, can provide power to small cell via POE.

Simple O&M:

  • Supports the automatically available data communication network (DCN) function and plug-and-play function.
  • Supports remote service commissioning and rapid service provision.
  • Supports E2E service detection and performance monitoring.

Efficient Transmission:

  • Supports a maximum access capacity of 56 Gbit/s and 10GE interfaces, capable of forwarding LTE and VIP private line services.
  • Supports various clock synchronization functions, such as synchronous Ethernet and IEEE 1588v2, and provides E2E clock synchronization solutions.
  • Supports hierarchical quality of service (HQoS) for differentiated service quality guarantees.
