Distributed Power

Huawei’s Distributed Power Systems (DPSs) are new-generation power solutions specialized for compact sites. They can be installed on poles or walls and used for easy macros, small cell base stations, and remote RRUs. They consist of DC, AC, and battery modules.

DC module: Converts AC/HVDC to -48V DC; supplies three branches of DC output and one branch for the battery module

AC module: Supplies three branches of single-phase AC output and a branch of DC output for a battery unit or DC LOA

Battery module: Provides reliable power backup

Simple: Fast deployment (10 minutes by 1 person), flexible evolution; Multiple inputs: AC/HVDC; Support for mobile App (based on Bluetooth) and “smart” OSS; In-band/out-of-band transmission.

Reliable: IP65; -40°C to +55°C working temperature; Fan-free design; 3 to 5 years routine maintenance-free.
