About The Webinar

The Covid 19 pandemic that has now reached more than 1 million fatalities globally has shown us how important it is to have access to the correct information and data for all decision makers to have an intelligent platform to work from and taking action.

Ever-increasing traffic flow leads to traffic congestions and jams, giving rise to increase in the cost of transportation as well as affecting the routine lives of people, which includes fatal injuries. The World Health Organization reported in Feb 2020 that approximately 1.35 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes, and road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 years.

An intelligent transportation system enables users to be better informed and to make safer, more coordinated, efficient and smarter use of transport networks. We will discuss how ITS will assist countries and cities globally to reduce traffic congestion, improve driver behavior and reduce fatal road accidents tremendously.
