Unlike traditional cameras that use a 1/1.8 inch front-illuminated Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) sensor, the Huawei X3221-C Facial Recognition Infrared Fixed Dome Camera has a 1/1.8 inch back-illuminated CMOS, greatly increasing the amount of light that reaches the image plane, and improving image quality.
Some situations require uninterrupted video service for disaster recovery: unlike common cameras that only support single-channel High Definition (HD) video encoding, X3221-C supports dual-channel independent 1080p HD video encoding, delivering HD video to two backend systems. The camera supports face detection and capture, and a maximum of 16 faces can be captured per frame with at least 95% accuracy. The built-in face snapshot optimization algorithm greatly reduces the repetition rate (to lower than 10%). X3221-C also supports facial recognition at the front end; it matches detected faces with 100,000 blacklisted face records and automatically generates an alarm upon a successful match. X3221-C supports multiple ports, such as gigabit Ethernet ports, RS-485 ports, alarm input and output ports, and analog video output ports. It also supports ISP profile settings, including seven preset profiles (for indoor scenarios, outdoor scenarios, virtual checkpoints, dimmed, backlight, overcast, and facial applications) and eight customized ISP profiles, making it applicable for many scenarios.
