Huawei’s X3221-C smart camera for face checkpoint services helps implement a facial recognition system that is efficient, stable, and accurate. Based on computer vision technology, the camera integrates image processing and deep learning to extract facial features from mass quantities of video and match them with a face library.
The camera integrates a chip that provides computing power for on-board image processing. The chip’s open software architecture supports online loading of new algorithms and independent upgrade without interrupting services.
The camera can automatically identify scene features and adjust imaging parameters in real time to deliver clear images in diverse lighting conditions, on hazy days, and in areas where objects move at different speeds.
The camera’s built-in facial recognition algorithms detect and track faces in video and automatically identify the faces. A single camera supports as many as 100,000 face images per face library.
