Huawei to Showcase New ICT to Accelerate Digital Industrial Transformation at HANNOVER MESSE 2018
[Hannover, Germany, February 6, 2018] At HANNOVER MESSE 2018 Preview, Huawei today announced it will showcase an array of innovative products and solutions to drive digital industrial transformation. During HANNOVER MESSE 2018, Huawei together with industry partners will show how these innovations based on leading new ICT including the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, 5G, All-Cloud Networks, enterprise wireless networks, and cyber security, help industrial companies move towards fully connected operations and production systems to meet new demands and compete in the future.
HANNOVER MESSE is the world's leading trade fair for industrial technology. Guided by the theme of "Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate", this year's exhibition will provide an international platform for Industry 4.0., and Huawei will take part in the Digital Factory trade show during the event.

Huawei has teamed up with global partners such as GE, SAP, Deutsche Telekom, and Honeywell to help manufacturers reshape the industry value chain, innovate business models, and create new values based on cloud, Big Data, IoT, and other technologies.
- In April 2017, Huawei and GE Digital jointly launched their Industrial Cloud-based Predictive Maintenance Solution. The solution has been recognized and applied by Schindler, the world's leading elevator and escalator supplier.
- In November 2017, Huawei announced a long-term partnership with Groupe PSA, the second largest car manufacturer in Europe, which boasts multiple car brands under its umbrella, including Peugeot and Citroën. The partnership will see both companies collaborating in the IoV field to provide innovative mobility services and solutions to customers.
- In February 2017, Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deutsche Post DHL, the world's leading mail and logistics company, to develop a range of supply chain solutions for customers using industrial-grade IoT hardware and infrastructure.
- In March 2017, Huawei announced its cooperation with Altair, a leading global engineering simulation software provider, to jointly develop efficient, high-performance industrial simulation cloud solutions for customers.
