Introduction
Huawei strives to implement its open strategy on digital ecosystem strategy. OpenLab is one of the important components. Huawei has built 6 OpenLabs in Suzhou, Munich, Mexico, Singapore, Dubai, and Johannesburg and the Bangkok OpenLab is the 7th. The total investment amounts to 15 million US dollars, with a total construction area of 2000 square meters, functional areas including customer & partner joint innovation center, POC test center, modular data center, training & certification center, and ICT experience center. It will offer ICT training (800 persons/year); ICT Career Certification (500 persons/year); and Proof Concept Testing (150 persons/year). OpenLab will focus on customers and partners in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.
