Huawei Technologies Phils., Inc. and other industry partners invites you to “i-City Summit 2017 : Safer and Better Connected Philippines”.  Our event will be held on the 13th and 14th of March 2017 at the Isla Ballroom, EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. We have invited DILG Secretary Sueno, PNP Chief Dela Rosa, DICT Secretary Rodolfo Salalima, DICT Undersecretary Eliseo Rio, to deliver the welcome message, DICT Undersecretary Denis Villorente to speak about the National Broadband Plan and DICT Usec. Atty. Jorge V. Sarmiento to give the closing remarks. We believe that this event will provide great opportunities for the development of the nation’s information superhighway to achieve the government’s goal in becoming a global competitor in the Digital Economy. Together, let us accelerate the development of intelligent cities and subsequently uplift every Filipino’s lifestyle through the advancement of digital services such as e-Governance, e-Education, e-Health and more!

ICT is a key enabler and an indispensable component of a safer and better connected Philippines. Congruent to this, the summit will focus on enabling a secure and sustainable development for the country through creation of an info structure for intelligent cities and fostering of an innovative digital economy.

The i-City Summit is a collaboration between the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), together with Huawei Technologies and Industry Partners.

Showcase

We will be showcasing the latest technology, products and services for a safer and intelligent city. There will also be discussions on topics focusing on policies and standards in building an intelligent nation.

Connect

It will be an avenue for sharing of global best practices on monetizing ICT investments, which will benefit the state and local government. In addition, safe city industry leaders from local and abroad will be attending to share their best practices, opportunities and challenges.
