An Intelligent, Modular, Reliable Infrastructure

Huawei’s intelligent Data Center (DC) infrastructure for ISPs is reliable, efficient, and modular, and facilitates simplified phased deployment.

Indeed, deployed with the NetEco6000 intelligent management system, the ISP Cloud Data Center Energy Infrastructure helps power the Huawei FusionModule2000 intelligent modular DC — or Huawei’s FusionModule1000 — an all-in-one, self-contained, prefabricated DC.

Power and distribution is provided by a full series of large Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) — ranging from 1 kVA to 800 kVA (with the possibility of paralleling up to 6.4 mVA) — while cooling capacity ranges from 11 kW to 253 kW, suitable for Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) systems across different scales of DCs.

While a fully redundant structure avoids single points of failure across all parts and components of the system, the exclusive lightload, dehumidification function ensures hot-swappable capabilities. Comprehensive health management provides early stage alerts, while it also features proactive Operations and Maintenance (O&M), timely parts replacement, prolonged device lifespan, and improved system reliability.

A modular UPS with 97.1% system efficiency, and sealed, cold/hot channel strategies, prevents the mixing of hot and cold air. Advanced cooling technologies — including a high-precision UPS, DC inverter air conditioner, and in-row cooling — reduces Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) to 1.2. Cooling collaboration and interactive regulation at the service layer ensure each system’s operation is optimized. As such, energy is saved and costs are reduced, while DCs also contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Efficient asset lifecycle management, with pre-estimation of capacity usage rates, optimizes DC resource usage, and ultimately maximizes Return on Investment (ROI).

Meanwhile, the modular architecture is simplified for phased deployment. Smart, plug-and-play micro modules help reduce Capital Expenditure (CAPEX). It features prefabricated components and rapid, on-site assembly, providing an all-in-one service, and supporting faster service rollout.
