Huawei Singapore Successfully Rolled out Enterprise Channel Partners Conference 2019
Huawei Singapore recently held its Enterprise Channel Partners Conference with the theme “Leading Connectivity & Intelligence” at M Hotel, Singapore. Sponsored by Intel, Innovix Distribution and VSTECS, bring together over 200+ participants from resellers, GP as well as channel partners which has enhanced the understanding of Singapore's enterprise business development and policies, this is a great opportunity for Huawei to recognize the outstanding partners, promote cooperation between the partners, as well as working towards a better future.
Nicholas Ma, CEO of Huawei International, gave a meaningful opening speech. He expressed his gratitude towards Singapore Enterprise channel partners for their continuous trust and support. He also shared performance results on Huawei enterprise business in Singapore. Lastly, he emphasized that Huawei is not just a platform that selling products, but also an eco-system builder to achieve digital transformation for partners.
Aaron Wang, managing director of Huawei Singapore Enterprise Business Group, presented the future goals and strategic plans for 2019. He aimed to achieve 50% increment for the overall enterprise business growth, Channel sales to be increased to 93%. Channel marketing will be doubled with 100% investments. He emphasized that Huawei will leverage on the rise of Smart Nation, 5G and AI technology in Singapore to better service digital transformation and AI transformation in various verticals together with our channel partners. Huawei will strive to be the Top 3 ICT brands in the near future that makes it easy for partners to make profits.
Ivan Low, vice president of regional partner development at Huawei Southern Pacific Region, introduced the channel strategies and goals for 2019. We have simplified the process of channel incentives as compared to 2018, by increasing rebates to increase channel revenue and expand marketing expenses. He also stressed that Huawei focus great importance on ICT talents, and encourages channels to actively participate in Huawei product certification to enhance channel capabilities.
Ng Chee Seng, expert of Singapore Huawei enterprise, introduced Huawei's main solution in 2019. Singapore is known for the high traffics and dense number of data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. The rise of AI and 5G brings new opportunities and challenges to Singapore's development. Huawei will focus on Video Cloud and Smart Campus solutions in 2019 to expand market share of our four major products series, DCI 600G transmission, all-flash, Wifi6 and smart computing. He also emphasized that Huawei OpenLab's POC Lab has accumulated thousands of test cases and has numerous POC success stories.
Chen Liang, vice president of global partner business at Huawei's Cloud BU, introduced Huawei's public cloud strategy. He said that by selling Huawei's public cloud, partners can get more rewards and revenue. He also emphasized that Huawei Cloud provides six advantages and is committed to promoting the business development of its partners.
Lim Sim Seng, Group Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management at DBS Bank, introduced digital transformation of DBS Bank and the business cooperation with Huawei. He said that as a leading financial services group in Asia, DBS is continually investing in improving our digital architecture and creating greater customer experiences. One area that we’re working on is building a future-ready environment that enables our employees to work anywhere and anytime in a secure manner, with Huawei as one of our technology partners on this journey.
