Huawei Enterprise Malaysia Celebrates Outstanding Partners at Annual Ecosystem Conference
[KUALA LUMPUR, 19 March 2021]: Huawei Enterprise Malaysia recently honoured its top contributing industry partners at its annual Huawei Enterprise Malaysia Ecosystem Conference 2021 for their incredible achievements and accomplishments in the past year.
The honour encompasses the companies’ perseverance and drive for excellence in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which had given rise to various operational challenges within the business environment.
A total of 22 enterprises received top honours at this year’s ceremony.
Mr. David Li, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise Malaysia said, “The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly accelerated digital transformation for many, if not all, of our customers. As a global technology leader, we at Huawei leverage our expertise and resources in advanced technologies and solutions, such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, to improve our customers’ experience in embracing digitalisation for their businesses – and in doing so, we help them stabilise production and ramp up efficiencies in addition to supporting them as they navigate the changes brought on by the pandemic.”
Recognising the award winners, Mr Michael Yuan, Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd said all the 22 recipients are an embodiment of determination and tenacity in trying times, especially with the rising demand for products, services and solutions by the technology industry.
“The pandemic made us think about the hard work and sacrifices of all our industry peers and partners. We recognise and most certainly are grateful for the incredible dedication of these companies. Their can-do attitude along with their motivation to continuously strive for excellence has made a positive difference in the industry,” said Mr Michael Yuan.
“As Huawei Malaysia celebrates our 20th Anniversary this year, one thing that comes to mind is the critical role that our trusted and valued enterprise business partners have played in our journey. We are who we are today as a result of the close friendships and great working relationships that we have fostered with each and every one of our peers,” added Mr Michael Yuan.
“Indeed, it has been a tremendously challenging period for all of us. However, at the same time, we believe in the power of optimism and more importantly, the power of technology in helping to control this pandemic. I would like to congratulate and thank all the winners for their support in 2020, and we at Huawei Malaysia are looking forward to fostering stronger partnerships with you in 2021.”
Mr. Chand Chenyao, Channel Director for Huawei Enterprise Malaysia, said that Huawei will continue leveraging its “platform + ecosystem” strategy, with the hope that each of the company’s partners will be able to create and deliver value to customers as well as to the ecosystem.
Elaborating on the three core principles of Huawei’s ecosystem, Mr. Chand said, “Our first principle is that growing the market is far more important than increasing our own market share. Our second principle is that cooperation is more important than competition, while the third is that through benefit sharing, Huawei aims to build a healthy win-win ecosystem.”
