On June 3 and 4, Huawei LATAM Partner Elite Competition 2021 was successfully held online. This was the first time that the Huawei has held the partner capability competition in Latin America Region, and 70 pre-sales and post-sales engineers from 21 partners from 9 different countries competed together showing their excellent skills and passion.
We're going through a historic moment, mankind never faced a pandemic with these characteristics that quickly globalized and brought about major crises at different levels, like economic, educational, in human relations and all this without any distinction of countries. It should be noted, however, that the pandemic has found us more connected than at any other time in history. The advancement of the technology made this hyper-connectivity possible and allowed to carry out activities that were considered unthinkable before. We’re all in the part of change, and we’re glad to see our partners teaming up with their peers, facing the challenge remotely, solving problems virtually and overcoming the lack of physical presence and to be able work effectively as a team.

This competition is a Latin America Region level competition and adopts the invitation system. Until May 14th, we will confirm the final team list. The competition will take place on June 3rd and 4th.
Competition Content
The Competition consists of two domains: pre-sales and post-sales. Each domain includes two tracks: ICT and cloud.
1. Knowledge points of the ICT track: Datacom, Storage, Intelligent Computing, Security, and WLAN
2. Knowledge points of the cloud track: Cloud Computing and Cloud Service
Participation Requirement
1. The participants of each track should be in teams, each of which consists of three members at most. Project development teams can participate in the pre-sales competition and project delivery teams in the post-sales competition.
2. Each partner can have only one team in each track.
3. All members of each team must be from the same company.
4. Each team member can participate in only one track (mutual exclusion between pre-sales and post-sales and between ICT and Cloud).
5. Holding HCPP and HCIE certification will be awarded extra points in the competition.
Competition Form
1. Pre-sales case presentation will be conducted online. The members of each participating team work together to develop a success case sharing which will be presented during the competition. The members are encouraged to present the case in turn. The presentation time of each team is 20 minutes. The assessors score each team according to assessment criteria, and the average score of all assessors will be the score of each team.
2. Post-sales experiment operations will also be conducted online. The members of each participating team work together and use the remote experimental environment to complete a task in 4 hours. They are required to submit a summarized answer which will be scored by Huawei technical experts.
3. During the oral defense, the competition assessor team will ask questions about case sharing (for pre-sales domain) and technical theory and delivery & service (for post-sales domain). Each assessor will give a score, and the average score of all assessors will be the score of each team.
