[Medellin, Colombia, August 4, 2026] The Huawei Network Summit 2026 Latin America successfully concluded in Medellín, attracting almost 400 industry leaders, technical experts, and ecosystem partners. During the summit, Huawei unveiled its upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Network Solution for the Latin American region under the new philosophy of "Secure and Intelligent Connectivity." This move reaffirms Huawei's efforts to advance all intelligence across industries together with customers and partners.
The global wave of AI is reshaping diverse industries. As AI moves into core production processes, networks are becoming an increasingly critical foundation. Consequently, its developmental focus is shifting from ubiquitous ultra-high bandwidth to an intelligent architecture centered on AI.

AI has reached a productivity turning point—shifting from 'talking' to 'doing.' However, this shift leads to major bottlenecks for traditional networks in both user experience and security, driven by surging uplink traffic and a sharp rise in AI-driven cyberattacks.

Superfast wireless: Huawei's first-of-its-kind AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 Advanced AP incorporates the anticipated Wi-Fi 8 innovations for higher speed and reliability. Particularly, intelligent Coordinated Scheduling and Spatial Reuse (iCSSR), a multi-AP coordination technology, dramatically reduces co-channel interference while doubling single-user speed in continuous networking scenarios.
Asset security: AI clustering-based terminal identification can automatically recognize dumb terminals with 95% accuracy. Smart Anomaly Detection (SmartAD) can detect terminal traffic behavior anomalies in seconds and proactively block them, preventing network intrusions.
Connectivity security: Huawei's proprietary Wi-Fi Shield and full-link end-to-end Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) technologies provide connections with unmatched security.
Spatial Security: Huawei's Wi-Fi CSI sensing technology detects spatial security conditions through a single AP and identifies intrusions in seconds on a campus network.

Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0
To address service stability challenges in multi-vendor network environments, Huawei has upgraded its StarryWing Digital Map and Rock-Solid Architecture with many AI technologies. Specifically, in multi-vendor coexistence scenarios, Huawei's xFlow technology enables intelligent full-flow analysis, which facilitates fault demarcation within one minute, eliminating customer concerns. Meanwhile, the AI Eagle-Eye Engine delivers real-time visibility into the quality of 2 million service flows, and completes fault root-cause analysis in minutes, in turn greatly enhancing data center network resilience.
Tailored for AI computing scenarios, Huawei's Hyper-Converged Fabric (HCF) achieves a network-wide throughput of over 98% through compute-network-storage synergy while boosting inference Tokens Per Second (TPS) by 20%. Equipped with iFlashboot 2.0, Huawei's Xinghe AI computing switches enable device reboots in just 5 seconds, ensuring uninterrupted inference services. Furthermore, Huawei's innovative StarryLink optical modules can detect fiber contamination and looseness issues within one minute, thereby reducing network-induced inference interruption events by 90%.
Xinghe Intelligent WAN
As the network foundation carrying core data for different industries, WANs are facing increasingly complex threats from novel cyberattacks. To address this, Huawei has built a multi-dimensional security defense system that seamlessly extends protection from devices to private lines. Specifically, Huawei's exclusive intelligent intrinsic security board can identify multi-dimensional behavior anomalies across device files, memory, systems, and traffic in real time, achieving precise defense against Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
To tackle the risk of harvest now, decrypt later (HNDL) quantum attacks, Huawei released the industry's first Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) quantum security board. Unlike traditional solutions that require external QKD devices, Huawei's solution simply installs a QKD board on a router, cutting overall capital expenditure by over 60%. All of these help enterprises build highly resilient, quantum-resistant WANs.
Xinghe AI Network Security
The large-scale deployment of generative AI and AI agents is driving cybersecurity into a brand-new phase. Huawei responds to this by announcing its "AI for Security" and "Security for AI" initiatives.
With regard to "AI for Security," Huawei's AI firewalls are equipped with proprietary AI Core and inline AI detection models, delivering millisecond-level online inference capabilities with an unknown threat detection rate of 95%. Additionally, Huawei has introduced the Agentic SOC solution, while Huawei's HiSec NG-SIEM supports log integration with over 200 mainstream vendors and enables second-level closed-loop threat handling across the entire network via Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR).
When it comes to "Security for AI," Huawei has unveiled the Xinghe AI Three-Layer Security Fencing Solution. Relying on specialized AI mining detection algorithms, semantic analysis large models, and eBPF behavior anomaly detection technology, this solution achieves zero service interruption, zero data leakage, and zero unauthorized access. Together, these capabilities safeguard the large-scale deployment of enterprise AI applications.
The event also featured an awards ceremony, where Huawei presented honorary awards to 12 long-term customers for their remarkable shared journey in the data communication domain. Furthermore, Huawei, alongside industry customers and partners in Latin America, jointly released the Huawei Xinghe AI Full-Scope Security Campus Technology White Paper and the Huawei AIFW Technical White Paper. These announcements mark the transition of AI campus security from single-point protection to all-domain perception and proactive intelligent defense, while clarifying the technical evolution direction and industrial development path for AI firewalls. Meanwhile, industry pioneers across sectors like finance and electric power took the stage to share real-world success stories in accelerating digital transformation.
