Solution Introduction

Smart Sense AirQ monitoring station uses very sensitive electrochemical gas sensors and optical sensor for particulate matter. It can be installed anywhere in the field, collects real time data and sends it to our own or any other IoT platform. AirQ central cloud application collects, analyses and saves measuring data and according to customer request presents them through AirQ WEB and mobile app.

We give our best effort to bring our end customers affordable but again precise air quality monitoring solution which will facilitate them to collect air quality data in real time.

This enables them to monitor air quality locally and on location where it is critical and according to data take actions.

Basic concept of our solution is we took the functionality of a professional monitoring station and put it in a smaller package, added connectivity and made everything much smaller thus affordable.

Small, flexible, modular, affordable and easy to deploy monitoring stations produce indicative measurements which are validated by Teaching Institute of Public Health in Croatia.

Our own developed IoT platform and WEB and mobile applications which we use for visualisation and presentation of collected data can integrate with any other IoT platform. Solution is flexible.

Introduction
Smart Sense AirQ monitoring station implements NB-IoT radio to establish the connection to the Huawei Ocean Connect IoT platform. Smart Sense AirQ plugin in Ocean Connect extracts the measurement data from the CoAP payload and translates it to the internal JSON format. Ocean Connect then uses REST callbacks to push the data to the Smart Sense Server Application where the data is processed and stored in the database. Web and mobile AirQ clients retrieve the current measurement data as well as measurement history from the server. In other direction, Smart Sense Server can initiate device management commands by calling the designated REST API in Huawei Ocean Connect. The platform passes this information to the Smart Sense AirQ plugin, where it is translated and wrapped into CoAP UDP packet before being sent to the AirQ monitoring station over NB-IoT.
