M22 Series Low-Light Bullet Camera
The M22 Series is comprised of four bullet cameras offering a choice of sensor sizes —2 or 8 megapixel — focal lengths of 2.8-12 mm, or 8-32 mm, and impressive low light capabilities, with both visible and invisible IR light compensation modes available.
The M2220-In (8-32 mm) camera deploys invisible IR, which operates at a higher frequency than traditional IR, meaning that it doesn’t emit a red glow — that makes invisible IR completely undetectable in the dark and therefore most suitable for covert operations. (Invisible IR does not illuminate quite as brightly as traditional IR, but results are still impressive.)
While the remaining three M22 models use visible IR, all M22 cameras offer excellent performance in low-light and diverse weather conditions, with super defogging and a rain wiper. With minimum illumination requirements as low as 0.0001 lux — black and white images using the M2220-I (2.8-12 mm), M2220-I (8-32 mm), or M2220-In (8-32 mm) —, a wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Highlight Compensation (HLC) technology, and ultra-wide operating voltage and temperature ranges — from –40ºC to +60ºC — all contribute to high-quality imaging in any weather conditions, from bright sun, through rain, to overcast days. Indeed, the cameras intelligently adapt parameters to conditions in real-time, delivering clear, uninterrupted surveillance imagery.
The cameras integrate video compression, intelligent algorithms — offering nine intelligent analysis modes —, and network transmission, and are capable of transmitting on-site images to the surveillance center over the network, instantaneously — an ability that is widely applicable in the Safe City as well as a variety of additional video surveillance scenarios.
